StableDomains.net accepts USDT on seven networks. You pick the chain when you create the order, and the order's 402 response gives you the exact amount, the receiving address and the token contract. This guide lists every network with its order parameter, contract, and confirmation count, and explains how to choose one.
Real domains. Paid in stablecoins. Bought by agents.

Always check the contract in your own order's payment requirements before sending. The live list is also available at /api/v1/health, and the full table is on the USDT page.
Two network notes:
- HyperEVM uses USDT0, the USDT token on that network.
- BNB Chain uses the Binance-Peg token with 18 decimals, not 6. Wallets handle this automatically, but scripts should use the amount from the order rather than calculating it.
How to pay
- Search for a name on stabledomains.net or with
GET /api/v1/search?q=name. - Create the order with your chain and
"token":"USDT":POST /api/v1/orders {"domain":"yourname.com","chain":"arbitrum","token":"USDT"}You get HTTP 402 with the exact amount, address and contract. - Send exactly that amount on that chain. A random 1–9999 micro-unit suffix makes the amount unique among open orders, so do not round it. The payment window is 60 minutes.
- Wait for confirmations (see the table). To speed things up, post your transaction hash or Solana signature:
POST /api/v1/orders/{id}/pay X-PAYMENT-TX: <tx hash or Solana signature> - Done. The domain is registered at NiceNIC (IANA 3765) and shows in your dashboard and
GET /api/v1/domains.
Each transaction hash pays only one order. Matching needs the right chain, token contract, receiving address and exact amount.
Which chain should I use?
StableDomains adds no payment fee on any chain, so the only cost difference is network gas.
- Already holding USDT on one chain? Pay from there. Bridging costs more than the gas difference.
- Lowest gas: Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, BNB Chain, HyperEVM and Solana are usually far cheaper to send on than Ethereum mainnet.
- Fastest confirmation count: Base and HyperEVM need 3 blocks. Polygon needs the most (32 blocks).
- Exchange withdrawals: if you withdraw from an exchange, make sure the withdrawal network matches the chain in your order. A payment on the wrong network will not match.
Fees and limits
- No StableDomains payment fee. You pay network gas.
- Minimum: one domain (from $4.99 for .xyz). Prepaid top-ups are $5 to $5,000.
- Registration from the TLD minimum to 10 years.
- WHOIS privacy is free where the registry allows it.
Current prices are on Pay with crypto; for example .com is $16.99 to register and $20.99 to renew, and .net is $20.99 and $25.49. Prices follow the upstream registrar and can change; the quote in your order is what counts.
USDT versus USDC
Everything above also works with USDC on all seven networks. The one difference is gasless x402, which is only available for USDC on Base. For USDT, the 402 response lists a transfer scheme: send the exact amount, then retry with X-PAYMENT-TX. See how to buy a domain with USDC and the x402 page.
Paying from a prepaid balance
If you buy or renew often, top up a prepaid balance once in USDT ($5–$5,000) and spend it on any order with buy_with_balance or from the dashboard. A balance can also fund auto-renew, which runs 7 days before expiry.

FAQ
Which chains accept USDT for domains? Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum One, Polygon PoS, HyperEVM (USDT0), BNB Chain and Solana.
Do you accept USDT on Tron (TRC-20)? No. Tron is not one of the supported networks. Use one of the seven listed above.
Can I pay with BTC, ETH or SOL? No. StableDomains takes USDC and USDT only and does not convert other assets. Swap first.
I sent USDT on the wrong network. What now? Email support@stabledomains.net with the order ID and transaction hash. Recovery is best-effort and not guaranteed.
What if I pay after 60 minutes? A late payment of the exact amount on the right chain and token is still detected and matched.
Is there a fee for paying in USDT? No StableDomains fee. You pay only the network's gas.
Can an agent pay in USDT?
Yes. The order flow is the same over the API and the MCP server (create_order, then pay_order with the transaction hash).
