Buy a domain with crypto
StableDomains takes stablecoins only: USDC and USDT on seven networks. Each order gets a unique exact amount that is detected on-chain automatically.

Contract addresses are on the USDC and USDT pages and in every order's payment requirements. Live list: /api/v1/health.
Stablecoins only. We do not accept BTC, ETH, SOL or other volatile assets, and we do not convert. If you hold something else, swap to USDC or USDT first.
From search to active domain
- Search: stabledomains.net or
GET /api/v1/search?q=name. - Order: pick chain and token.
POST /api/v1/ordersreturns HTTP 402 with the exact amount, the receiving address and the token contract. - Pay: send exactly that amount. A random 1–9999 micro-unit suffix makes it unique among open orders, so do not round it. The payment window is 60 minutes.
- Detect: we check the transaction succeeded, read the token Transfer log (token, address, amount) and wait for the confirmations above. Each transaction hash can only pay one order. You can speed this up with
X-PAYMENT-TX: <hash>. - Register: the domain is registered at our upstream registrar NiceNIC (IANA 3765) and appears in your dashboard and
GET /api/v1/domains.

Live quotes from /api/v1/tlds on 28 October 2026; prices follow the upstream registrar and can change, so the quote in your order is what counts. WHOIS privacy is included free.
Fees and minimums
- StableDomains adds no payment fee. You pay network gas to send the transfer, except with gasless x402 USDC on Base.
- The minimum is the price of one domain (cheapest above: .xyz at $4.99). Prepaid balance top-ups are $5 to $5,000.
- Registrations run from the TLD minimum up to 10 years.

FAQ
Do I need KYC to pay with crypto?
No identity documents are requested to pay. You can check out as a guest, with an email link, a passkey or a wallet sign-in. Registration is still subject to ICANN registrant-data rules described in our Terms.
What if I pay on the wrong network or send the wrong token?
The payment will not match the order: matching requires the order's chain, token contract, receiving address and exact amount. Email support@stabledomains.net with the order ID and transaction hash. Recovery is best-effort and not guaranteed, so double-check the network before sending.
Can I get a refund?
If a paid order cannot be completed (for example the registry refuses the name), the amount is credited to your StableDomains prepaid balance, which you can spend on any other order. On-chain payments are not sent back automatically.
What if I pay after the 60-minute window?
Late payments of the exact amount on the right chain and token are still detected and matched to the expired order, which then proceeds. If registration then fails (for example the name was taken meanwhile), the amount is credited to your balance.
Is paying with crypto anonymous?
No. Stablecoin transfers are public on-chain and link your wallet address to the order. We keep order and payment records as described in our Privacy policy, and domain registration requires registrant contact data under ICANN rules.
