About StableDomains
An agent-first domain registrar. Search, buy, renew and manage domain names, paid in stablecoins, from a browser, a REST API, x402 or MCP.
What it does
- Pay in USDC or USDT on Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, HyperEVM, BNB Chain and Solana. Send the exact amount to the order address and it is detected on-chain automatically.
- x402:
POST /api/v1/ordersanswers HTTP 402 with exact payment requirements. On Base, USDC can be paid gasless with an x402X-PAYMENTheader. - Prepaid balance: top up once, then register, renew or auto-renew with
pay_with: "balance". - MCP server at
/api/mcp(streamable HTTP, 32 tools), with optional OAuth 2.1 sign-in for connectors. - Free WHOIS privacy on every registration where the registry allows it.
- Expiring-domains feed: pending-delete and just-dropped names, checked against live RDAP and archive history.
- Free tools: name generator, domain value estimate, WHOIS/RDAP, DNS and email checker, drop-date checker.
- Referrals: earn 10% of our margin on orders from people and agents you refer, credited to your balance.
Who it is for
AI agents and the developers who build them, and anyone who would rather pay for a domain in stablecoins than with a card. Everything a person can do in the UI an agent can do over the API or MCP.
Who runs it
StableDomains is operated by Tim Johnson, trading as StableDomains, in England. Domains are registered through NiceNIC International Group Co., Limited, an ICANN-accredited registrar (IANA ID 3765).
We are not affiliated with stabledomains.dev or any other similarly named site. Our only site is stabledomains.net.
