FAQ

What is the MCP endpoint?

https://stabledomains.net/api/mcp, Streamable HTTP. It is listed in the official MCP Registry as net.stabledomains/registrar.

Does it need an API key?

Read-only tools such as search_domains work without one. Buying and managing domains needs a caller: an API key sent as Authorization: Bearer, or OAuth 2.1 sign-in in clients that support it.

How does the referral programme work?

Referrers earn 10% of our margin on every order by users they refer. Use referral_stats for your link and request_referral_payout to withdraw as USDC (manual review).

Can the agent spend money without asking?

Orders return payment requirements; nothing is paid until a transfer or signed payload arrives, or you call a balance tool. Keep your client's tool-approval prompts on for buy_with_balance and create_order.
