# Search and register a domain

1. `GET https://stabledomains.net/api/v1/search?q=myagent`: availability and price across TLDs (`premium`, `renewal_price`). MCP `search_domains`.
2. `GET https://stabledomains.net/api/v1/quote?domain=myagent.com&years=1`. MCP `quote_domain`.
3. `POST https://stabledomains.net/api/v1/orders` with header `Idempotency-Key: <unique>` and body `{"domain":"myagent.com","years":1,"chain":"base","token":"USDC"}`. Answers 402 with exact payment requirements (see https://stabledomains.net/skill_payments.md). MCP `create_order`.
4. Poll `GET https://stabledomains.net/api/v1/orders/{id}` until `status` is `completed`. MCP `check_order`.

Several names in one payment: `POST https://stabledomains.net/api/v1/cart` (MCP `create_cart`, up to 20). Name ideas: `GET https://stabledomains.net/api/v1/suggest?idea=...`.
Premium names show `premium: true`; price is registry premium + 12% and `renewal_price` is the premium renewal. WHOIS privacy is included free.
